Fresh Meat

• Preheat the pan on medium heat. To test for readiness, sprinkle a droplet of water into the pan; when it rolls around like a ball of mercury, it’s ready to go!
• Place the meat in the pan, season, and cover, whistle open.
• When the whistle sounds, remove the lid and flip the meat. Season the other side.
• Replace the lid, whistle closed, and turn the burner to low. Allow to cook 10-12minutes longer or until the desired doneness is reached.

Vegestables (fresh and frozen)

• Place 2 TBSP water in the bottom of the pan. Put the vegetables in the pan
• Cover, whistle open, and cook on medium heat.
• When the whistle sounds, close the whistle valve, and turn the burner off.
• Allow to stand for 5-7 minutes and serve.

Pasta

• Fill the pan ¾ full of water. Cover, whistle open, and cook on medium heat. If using a Dutch Oven, use the large skillet lid for the pasta instead of the dome cover.
• When the whistle sounds, put the desired amount of pasta into the pan and stir. Make sure the pasta is submerged completely in the water.
• Replace the lid, turn to “V” for vent and reduce temperature to low.
• Allow to cook 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve.

Frozen meat

• Place the frozen meat in a cold pan. Cover, whistle open and cook on medium heat.
• When the whistle sounds, remove the lid, season the meat and flip it.
• Replace the lid, whistle closed, and turn the burner to low. Allow to cook 10-12minutes longer or until the desired doneness is reached.

Rice

• Follow the package/recipe directions for the amount of liquid, rice and seasonings. Place ingredients in a cold pan.
• Cover, whistle open, and cook on medium heat. Do not take the lid off.
• When the whistle sounds, turn the knob to “V” to let it vent, and turn the burner to low.
• Allow to cook for 10-15 minutes longer. Fluff with a fork and serve.

Eggs

Fried Eggs: Preheat pan on medium-low heat. Spray cooking spray on pan, place eggs in pan and cover. Leave until desired preparedness, then add one tablespoon water and eggs will remove with ease.

Boiled eggs: Line a sauce pan with damp kitchen towel and put whole eggs. Cook medium with whistle open. Once it will whistle, close whistle and turn low for 2 minutes. Turn off fire and serve for half cook and leave cover close for 3 minutes to finish to hard boil..
